The 7th Council of the Presbyterian University College, Ghana (PUCG), was inaugurated on 3rdJanuary, 2020, following the end of tenure of the 6th Council on 31st October, 2019.
The Inauguration was done at the Conference Hall of the Church House of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), at Kuku Hill, Accra. In all, twelve (12) members were inducted into Office as Members of the PUCG Council for a three-year tenure.
The Induction Ceremony was officiated by the Moderator of the General Assembly of the
PCG, Rev. Professor J. O. Y. Mante, who was assisted by the Clerk of the General Assembly, Rev Dr Godwin NiiNoi Odonkor.
Handing over to the new Council Chairperson, the outgoing Chairman, Dr. Stephen Saforo Yirenkyi, intimated that his handing over notes are extensive to assist the new Council to have a smooth start to their work. He wished the new Members of Council well.

The newly-inducted Council Members were advised to do everything possible to ensure the continuous growth of the University, especially to maintain the good academic performance of the University, and to strive to obtain a Presidential Charter for the University.
The three-year tenure of the 7th Council will come to an end on 31st October, 2022.
