The Department of Physician Assistantship of the Presbyterian University College, Ghana has won the maiden Physician Assistantship Students’ Association of Ghana Quiz Competition for the Northern Sector.
The competition aims at fostering unity and bond among members of the Association, and to promote excellence in the discharge of their professional mandate.
The competition which is the first in the series organized by the Physician Assistantship Students’ Association of Ghana has been grouped into Northern and Southern sectors.
The Garden City University College, College of Health, Kintampo and Presbyterian University College, Ghana (PUCG) faced off in a thrilling context after Anglican University College pulled out of the competition.
Presbyterian University College, Ghana which won the Northern sector competition will meet the winner of the Southern competition held at Central University on 18th March, 2016 in the grand final.
The contestants from the various Colleges were tested in Current Affairs, Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology and Pharmacology in a close contest in which the winner was decided on the last question of the final round.
PUCG which hosted the competition at its Asante Akyem Agogo Campus was represented by Asare Lydia Afia Gyaa, Boaitey Manu James, and Ahiayibor Erasmus Wisdom.
