Level 400 Nursing Students of Presbyterian University College, Ghana (PUCG) have donated items worth Five Hundred Cedis to the Senior Correctional Centre (SCC) in Accra.
The donation was made during an educational visit to the Centre by the students of the Department of Nursing at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, Asante Akyem Campus.
The students believe the benevolence will support the Centre which has the mandate to reform inmates between the ages of 12 and 21 who have been incarcerated for various forms of crime.
The items donated include bags of rice, cooking oil, toilet rolls, pieces of soap and tins of milk.
