The District Minister of Ramseyer Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), Abetifi District paid a courtesy call on the President of Presbyterian University College, Ghana (PUCG), Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu upon his assumption of office as the third President of the University.
Congratulating the President on his appointment, Rev. Emmanuel Obour assured him of support of the Abetifi District of the PCG stating that he and his leadership are open to any assistance requested by the University.
The President welcomed Rev. Emmanuel Obour and his leadership for the support to the University over the years and their assurance of continuous support for his administration.
Prof. Oduro Owusu said he is looking forward to a closer collaboration between the University and the Church in the former’s quest to improve its enrollment on all programmes run at the University. He pledged the University’s support to the Church in every area of need that is within its capacity.
Rev. Emmanuel Obour who was accompanied by his Associate Minister, Rev. Ben Asare Opoku, Catechist Smart Obeng-Effah and Senior Presbyter Evans Baah Tenkorang prayed for the President, Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu and also made a donation to the University.
