The exercise dubbed “Walk for Life” covered a distance of about 9 kilometres. The walkers started the exercise from Mpraeso Senior High School (MPASS) through the Mpraeso community, the old Atibie – Nkawkaw road and back to MPASS.
The trampers were taken through rigorous aerobics that did not only intend to put the body into good shape but also bring out the fun in group exercise. The jama group was vibrant as they sang throughout the exercise.
The Presidential Walk was instituted to afford staff and students opportunity to engage in regular exercises to help improve their fitness and health. It is also meant to create good bonding among staff as well as between staff and students of the University.
