Virtual InfoSec Africa (VIA) Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Emmanuel Asiedu Sekyere has offered scholarship worth $150,000.00 to students of PUG to obtain EC-Council certification
The fully funded Certifications by VIA will give opportunity to 100 students offering Computer Science and related programmes at PUG to gain industry-recognized credentials such as Certified Security Operations Center Analyst and Certified Cybersecurity Technician.
Expressing his commitment to ensuring Ghanaians obtain high level expertise in cybersecurity, Mr. Emmanuel Asiedu Sekyere said “In a world where cyber threats are constantly evolving, it is essential that we not only keep pace but also prepare our future leaders to do the same.”
The Chancellor of the University, who also doubles up as the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana graced the occasion to dedicate the laboratory.
