The Presbyterian University, Ghana invites applications for appointment to positions in the Registry.

POSITION: PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER

Duties:
• Develop and implement strategic public relations and marketing programmes that support the overall objectives of the University.
• Develop content, target audiences and utilises technology to communicate with those audiences and stakeholders.
• Manage and promote the Presbyterian University Brand.
• Write and produce most official publications including newsletter, quarterly and annual reports.
• Serve as the official liaison with the general public, community and organisation and manage the organisation’s websites.
• Manage Media and media relations.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Must have a minimum of Masters degree in Public Relations/Marketing
• Must have progressive experience in PR, Marketing, fundraising, events promotion, or journalism practice.
• Membership of the Institute of Public Relations/ Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana and experience in a University setting will be an added advantage.
• Applicants must have great communication (written and verbal) skills, great interpersonal skills, and be customer focused.


POSITION: CHIEF OF SECURITY
Duties:
• Ensure the safety of employees, company’s properties and estates.
• Supervise tasks and assign activities to security officers.
• Organise rounds of inspection on security guards at their duty location.
• Prepare a duty roster and maintain records relating to duties of security guards.
• Investigate theft, pilfering, loss and assault and submit reports to management.
• Prepare and submit periodic reports on company’s security and management reports.
• Any other duties which may be assigned to you from time to time.


Qualifications/Requirements:
• Minimum of a Diploma in a relevant field such as criminal justice, law enforcement, or security management.
• Previous experience in a leadership role within the security industry, with at least 5-10
• years of experience in a security-related field.
• Certification in security management, such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP).
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team of security personnel.
• Ability to analyze and assess potential security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Experience in developing and implementing security plans, policies, and procedures.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to security operations.
• Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
