REGISTRY
POSITION: PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER
Duties:
- Develop and implement strategic public relations and marketing programmes that support the overall objectives of the University.
- Develop content, target audiences and utilises technology to communicate with those audiences and stakeholders.
- Manage and promote the Presbyterian University Brand.
- Write and produce most official publications including newsletter, quarterly and annual reports.
- Serve as the official liaison with the general public, community and organisation and manage the organisation’s websites.
- Manage Media and media relations.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 1st degree qualification in Public Relations/Marketing
- Must have progressive experience in PR, Marketing, fundraising, events promotion, or journalism practice.
- Membership of the Institute of Public Relations/ Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana and experience in a University setting will be an added advantage.
- Applicants must have great communication (written and verbal) skills, great interpersonal skills, and be customer focused.
POSITION: PROCUREMENT OFFICER
Duties:
- Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with vendors and suppliers
- Ensure that there is a continuous, effective and efficient procurement process of goods and services for the company.
- Ensure that a competitive balance of cost, delivery timescale and quality is negotiated for all purchases
- Ensure purchase orders (PO) and purchasing contracts are issued in accordance with Presbyterian University Ghana’s procurement policy, procedures, and processes.
- Maintain a proper filling and monthly tracking system of the status of all the POs and contracts issued and provide updates to the supervising authority
- Participate in the preparation of monthly reports (including commitments and cost analysis) as well as Internal Control requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and/ or Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement and/or related fields
- Working knowledge of the industry and market conditions.
- Membership of a professional body will be an added advantage.
