Presbyterian University, Ghana receives General Assembly Delegation

A delegation of eight from the General Assembly (GA) of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) paid a courteous visit to the Management of the Presbyterian University, Ghana (PUG) on Wednesday August 14, 2024

The delegation led by Rev. Daniel Bosea Gyinatwi, the Chairperson of the West Brong Presbytery of the PCG, commended Management for their good works and extended fraternal greetings on behalf of the Moderator of the General Assembly, Rt. Rev. Dr. A. N. Opare Kwakye

The delegation applauded Management for their hardwork and dedication which has culminated in an increase in enrollment at the University especially on the Asante Akyem Campus. They were also happy that the University has rolled out more graduate programmes. They were concerned about infrastructural facilities of the University, especially at the Asante Akyem Campus and assured Management of GA’s unwavering intention to support the University in that regard.

The delegation also took the opportunity to invite the University to the 24th GA slated for 14th August to 18th August, 2024 at the Ramseyer Training Centre, Abetifi-Kwahu.

The Vice Chancellor of PUG, Prof. John Ofosu-Anim, on behalf of the Management expressed gratitude to the Moderator of the General Assembly and the Church as a whole and implored them to continue to champion the course of the University

The Vice Chancellor again used the medium to show gratitude to the Moderator of the Generally Assembly for making it possible for the University to have a Cyber Security Lab which is almost complete.
