Convocation elects Dr. Bediako and Mrs. Adamah to Council

The Convocation of the Presbyterian University, Ghana has on Thursday, September 5, 2024
elected Dr. Frank Bediako Agyei and Mrs. Francisca Serwah Adamah as representatives of the
Senior Members, Academic and Non- Academic respectively to the University Council.


Dr. Frank Bediako Agyei, a Senior Lecturer and Ag. Dean of the School of Nursing and
Midwifery at the Asante Akyem (Agogo) Campus of the University has been a staff of the
University since 2015.
His garnered experience from serving on Boards and Committees in the University, including his
focus in teaching and research in nursing and midwifery with particular interest in public health
issues such as burns, adolescent health, and sexual and reproductive health makes him an ideal
representative on the University Council.


Also elected as representative for the senior members, Non-Academic, Mrs. Adamah, is a Senior
Assistant Registrar in charge of Admissions and Students Affairs at the Head Office of the
University. She has served the University since its inception in 2003 in various capacities.

The election was conducted electronically across all five Campuses of the University and
collated at the Okwahu Campus under the supervision of the Registrar, Dr. Francis Narh Akrono.
